Mary Lynn Rajskub

  • Actress and comedian Mary Lynn Rajskub appeared in the Television series' Mr. Show, The Larry Sanders Show, NewsRadio and most recently 24. She has also appeared in a number of movies.
  • Career Background

    Rajskub (the name is Czech) studied painting at the San Francisco Art Institute. After graduating, she performed stand-up comedy and started dating fellow comedian David Cross. She was one of the original cast members on the HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show where she left after the second season.

    Rajskub and fellow Mr. Show cast member Karen Kilgariff started a comedy-musical duo called "Girls Guitar Club" around this time. She was also a recurring character on the sitcom Veronica's Closet.

    Rajskub joined the cast of 24 in 2003 at the start of the series' third season. She has since become one of the main characters and receives top billing alongside star Kiefer Sutherland. The two of them portrayed their 24 characters on a parody episode of The Simpsons in 2007.
