  • Marvin Stone was an American basketball player in the Saudi Arabian Saudi Basketball Federation (SBF) who died during a game on April 1, 2008. Stone reportedly collapsed in his team's locker room during the half-time break of a playoff game. Authorities have determined that he died of a heart attack, although further details have yet to be released.

    Stone was well known during his collegiate basketball career, specifically for playing for both the University of Kentucky Wildcats and the University of Louisville Cardinals, two schools which have a long-standing rivalry with one another. After college, Stone would go on to play professional basketball internationally, culminating in his position as Center for the SBF team, Al-Ittihad.
