Marvel vs. Capcom 2

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is a fighting video game that pits characters from Marvel Comics and Capcom games against each other. This installment marks the fourth in the series and has been labeled the final game of the series. The 2-on-2 tag system from the previous games has been upgraded to allow for a 3-vs-3 tag mode. Many video game critics are split in terms of determining how great the game is. Some players have criticized the game for its many glitches, while other players praise the game's balance.

The Evolution Fighting Game Championships, the biggest fighting game tournament series in the nation, have used Marvel vs Capcom 2 in its video game tournaments. It has been one of the staples of the tournament series, and in 2007, it was the event's featured game out of the eight played. The game will make a repeat appearance in 2008.
