Career
Marv Wolfman was established as an active member of comic book fandom before beginning his professional career at DC Comics in 1968, often in collaboration with his friend Len Wein. Wolfman moved to Marvel Comics in 1974, where he had a long run on The Amazing Spider-Man and served as editor in chief for a time. His biggest impact at Marvel was his innovative run on Tomb of Dracula, where he created Blade, a character later developed into a successful film and television franchise. On returning to DC in the 1980s, Wolfman was instrumental in revitalizing several titles, including The New Teen Titans and Superman.-
