American professional hockey player Marty Reasoner plays for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League.

NHL Career
Reasoner was drafted 14th overall in the 1996 NHL draft by the St. Louis Blues. He continued to play at Boston College for two years after the draft and made his NHL debut with the Blues in 1998. Reasoner split the next three seasons between the Blues and their American Hockey League affiliate, the Worchester IceCats. On July 1, 2001, Reasoner was traded to the Edmonton Oilers. He missed the majority of the 2003-04 season with knee injuries, then played in Austria for the EC Red Bull Salzburg during the 2004-05 NHL lockout. Following the lockout, Reasoner was traded to the Boston Bruins on March 9, 2006. He played the last 19 games of the 2005-06 season with the Bruins, then returned to the Oilers as a free agent on July 4, 2006.Timeline
