NHL Career
Erat was drafted 191st overall in the 1999 NHL draft by the Nashville Predators. He played two seasons in the Western Hockey League before joining the Predators in 2001 for his NHL debut. His 80 games played and 23 assists set new franchise records for a rookie with the Predators franchise.Official Site of the Nashville Predators: Martin Erat During the 2004-05 NHL Lockout, Erat played for the HC Hame Zlin in the Czech Republic.
