  • Marlon Jackson is the sixth child of the Jackson family and a former member of the group The Jackson 5. After leaving the group in the mid to late 1980s, Marlon released his debut album Baby Tonight achieving moderate success. He has since worked as a real estate agent in California.

    Marlon's younger brother, Michael Jackson, died suddenly as a result of cardiac arrest on June 25, 2009.

  • Career

    Marlon and younger brother Michael Jackson joined brothers Jackie, Tito and Jermaine in the late 1960s, forming the group The Jackson 5. The brothers performed as The Jackson 5 until they split from Motown in 1976, resulting in Jermaine going off on his own to pursue a solo career. The group was then renamed The Jacksons and performed under the label CBS Records. Marlon stayed with The Jacksons until the late 1980s when he branched off on his own eventually releasing a solo album titled Baby Tonight in 1987. In October of 2008, Jermaine announced that The Jackson 5 were planning a reunion tour in 2009.
