Early Life

Marley Eve Shelton was born in Los Angeles, California on April 12, 1974. She attended Eagle Rock High School where she was a varsity cheerleader and the Prom Queen. She is the daughter of director Christopher Shelton.
Acting Career

Shelton made her film and television debut in the Lawrence Kasdan film Grand Canyon starring Kevin Kline. She garnerer national attention for her work in the films The Sandlot and Pleasantville starring Tobey Maguire. Her breakthrough role came in the cheerleader comedy Sugar & Spice where she played the lead role of Diane Weston. She has since appeared in such hit films as Uptown Girls, Just A Kiss and Bubble Boy. She has also worked with director Robert Rodriguez twice in the hit films Sin City and Grindhouse where she appeared in both segments as Dr. Dakota Block.
