Canadian actor and comedian Mark McKinney is a member of the The Kids in the Hall sketch comedy team. From their initial success he went on to become a cast member of Saturday Night Live, created the Canadian series Slings and Arrows, and wrote and acted in the Aaron Sorkin television drama Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip .
Kids in the Hall
McKinney is an alumni of the sketch troupe Kids in the Hall with actors Scott Thompason, Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald, and Bruce McCulloch. The troupe formed over several years playing different venues in Canada and ultimately were given their own television show on the CBC and then HBO. After the program was canceled the crew made the movie Brain Candy and planned several tours of their revue.
