Mark Ingram, Jr. is a running back for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team and the winner of the 2009 Heisman Trophy. The first Heisman winner in Alabama history, Ingram also had the narrowest winning margin in history, finishing just 28 points ahead of Stanford running back Toby Gerhart. BCS National Championship Game
On January 7, 2010, Ingram was named the offensive most valuable player in the BCS Championship game as he led the Crimson Tide to a 37-21 victory over the Texas Longhorns.
