Mark Frauenfelder is the editor-in-chief of MAKE Magazine and co-founder of the popular blog Boing Boing, which he started as a print magazine along with wife Carla Sinclair in 1998.
Rarotonga
In 2003, Frauenfelder moved with his wife, Sinclair, and their two young daughters to the South Pacific island of Rarotonga for five months. He described the trip as an attempt "to see how simply we can live on an Island known for its simple, but pleasant and easygoing, way of life."The Island Chronicles: Why We Moved Frauenfelder and Sinclair documented their trip on the blog The Island Chronicles and in columns written for the LA Weekly.
