    Mark Foley was born in Newton, MA on September 8, 1954. He graduated from Lake Worth High School in Florida, going on to attend Palm Beach Community College.   • Career

    In 1977, Foley served as city commissioner of Lake Worth, FL, moving up to the office of vice mayor from 1983-1984. He was elected to the Florida State House of Representatives from 1990-1992, and a member of the State Senate from 1993-1995.
