    Mark Cuban was raised in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Indiana University in 1981 with a BA in business administration.

    He moved to Dallas, Texas, where he started working as a bartender and software salesperson. He soon branched into his own ventures, and in 1995 he founded Broadcast.com with college friend Todd Wagner. The company grew in size and success over the coming years and was purchased by [[Yahoo!]] in 1999 for $5.9 billion in Yahoo! stock.
