    Marjorie Margolies was an Emmy-award winning journalist when she interviewed Iowa congressman Edward Maurice Mezvinsky in 1970s. They married, and after he lost reelection in 1976, the couple moved to her native Pennsylvania. In 1992, she ran for Congress and was elected, serving for one term.
