Supermodel Marisa Miller appeared on the cover of the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Her appearances in several swimsuit issues and as a Victoria's Secret angel have earned her wide recognition on the worldwide fashion modeling circuit. On May 16, 2008 she was named as Maxim's sexiest woman, topping the 2008 Hot 100. According to Maxim, "Not since Cindy Crawford ruled the catwalk has a pinup born and bred on U.S. soil so thoroughly captured the imagination of the American male."
Career
Discovered at the age of 16, Miller began modeling in Italy and made her magazine debut in Perfect 10 at the age of 19. After being noticed by Peruvian photographer Mario Testino, she began appearing in Victoria's Secret catalogues and made her first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue appearance in 2002.
