Marion Jones is a former Olympic Gold Medal winning sprinter. For years Jones denied allegations that she had used performance enhancing drugs, until finally admitting to using The Clear before the 2000 Olympics. Jones was stripped of her medals and sentenced to 6-months in prison for making false statements to a federal agent. She was released from prison on September 5, 2008

Steroid Scandal
Jones plead guilty to lying to federal investigators in connection with the BALCO steroids distribution ring scandal. Jones was sentenced to six months in prison and 200 hundred hours of community service for perjury on January 11, 2008. After admitting to using steroids, Jones apologized to her family, friends, fans and country, saying "..with a great amount of shame...I stand before you and tell you that I have betrayed your trust...and you have the right to be angry with me...
