• Gay Marriage Misunderstanding Vote

  On May 5, 2009, Barry entered a yes vote on a proposal for Washington DC to recognize same-sex marriages from other states. After the motion passed with a unanimous 13-0 vote, Barry asked for the motion to be reconsidered, stating he did not understand what he was voting for.
