Mario Paint is a 1992 art/party game developed by Nintendo for the SNES. The game is a departure from the normal Super Mario Bros. platforming games, in that it allows players to create drawings and artwork with different tools and colors.

Gameplay
Mario Paint is an art workshop game utilizing the SNES Mouse controller, in which you are given control over a collection of colors, tools and features, and allowed to create your own artistic renderings at your own leisure. There are 30 different colors to choose from, nine different special “eraser” tools, and numerous other options to help you customize your creations. Additionally, there are numerous pre-rended drawings that can be colored in similar to coloring in a coloring book. Other in-game tools include the stamping feature, which the player can use to stamp their work with a number of included objects such as the sun or fruit, as well as custom create their own stamps. The game also allows the creation of looping animations, which can be played back and customized with fitting music. -
