Controllers
Mario Kart Wii has four different control schemes available:- Nunchuk-Wiimote combo: Steer with the Control Stick on the Nunchuk. Use the Wii Remote to accelerate, drift, and perform aerial tricks.
- Classic Controller: Steer with the left control stick, press R to drift, L to use items, the D-pad to perform aerials
- GameCube: Steer with the control stick, press R to drift, L to use items, the D-pad to perform aerials
- Wii Remote Controller (with or without Wii Wheel)
- Steer by tilting the Wii Remote left or right
- Snap the Wii Remote into the Wii Wheel for use as a steering wheel
