Marie Bruce, president of the Town and Gown Players and an attorney in Athens, Georgia, was shot and killed by her husband George M. Zinkhan III on April 25, 2009.
Authorities were still searching for Zinkhan, a professor at the University of Georgia, on April 27, 2009. He holds a ticket to the Netherlands on May 2, 2009, and his passport is missing. Death at the Theatre
On the early afternoon of April 25, 2009, Marie Bruce and two young children were at the Athens Community Theatre, having lunch with several of her associates in the Town and Gown Players. Her husband, George M.
