Marian Evelyn Faithfull is a British singer, songwriter, and actress who burst onto the scene in 1964. That year, she released her first single, "As Tears Go By", which managed to make it on the British charts at number 9. She has also established herself as an actress, appearing in numerous plays, films and TV shows.
