Marian Rivera is a Spanish-born Filipino actress. Marian was original born in Madrid, Spain but moved to the Philippines at the age of two. Marian's breakout role was when she got the lead role in Philippine soap opera Marimar.

Marian Rivera, a Madrid, Spain native, was born of Spanish father Francisco Javier Alonzo Gracia and Philippine mother Amalia Rivera. At age 2, when her parents split, she permanently returned to the Philippines with her mother. She has a BS in Psychology from De La Salle University Dasmariñas. She began her acting career as a child, performing in commercials. She has worked on Philippine soap operas such as Kung Mamahalin Mo Lang Ako, Agawin Mo Man Ang Lahat and Pinakamamahal and more recently starred in television program SOP and Marimar, a Mexican soap opera. Currently she is performing in Dyesebel where she portrays a mermaid appearing in fins and full costume. She has also released dance album, "Marian Rivera Dance Hits" consisting mostly of love songs.

Most recently Marian Rivera has been involved in a scandals.
