  • NHL Career

    Gaborik was drafted third overall in the 2000 NHL draft by the Minnesota Wild. He joined the Wild for his rookie season that same year, playing in 71 games and scoring 18 goals and 18 assists. Gaborik continued with the Wild until the 2004-05 NHL lockout, when he played in Slovakia and Sweden. Following the lockout, Gaborlik returned to the Wild, where he was named captain for March and April of 2008.
