  • "Touch My Body" was the first single off of [[E=MC2 Mariah Carey Album|E=MC²]], Mariah Carey's eleventh studio album.

    While some critics disliked the production, which focused more on hooks than it did singing, the song garnered generally positive reviews. Fans did not seem to care: "Touch My Body" was downloaded over 280,000 times in its first week. After it's release, "Touch My Body" quickly shot to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, her 18th, which placed her only second to The Beatles at the time of its release.

    The music video for the single, directed by Brett Ratner, featured Jack McBrayer (from 30 Rock) as a computer repairman who fantasized about wooing Carey as she sings the song.
