• Menounos Interviews Obama

  Maria Menounos interviewed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, his wife and daughters, Malia and Sasha, for Access Hollywood on July 4, 2008. The interview aired in four parts during the week of July 8, 2008 and was conducted in Montana.   Menounos is the executive director and co-founder of the charity organization Take Action Hollywood!, a group that produces feature films that serve to raise awareness for the cause of positive social change. The group brings attention to the causes of diabetes research, animal cruelty awareness, AIDS relief and awareness and other issues.
