Maria Kanellis

Maria Kanellis (aka Maria) is a women's professional wrestler signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). She currently appears on the Raw Brand.

Maria was a contestant in the 2004 WWE Raw Diva Search. Even though she was eliminated, she still received a WWE contract. Maria started as a backstage interviewer for Raw, appearing to lack knowledge about WWE and wrestling. She took on the persona of a ditzy air-head, which carried over with her as she began to get more involved in actual wrestling. In 2007, Maria began an on-air romance with wrestler Santino Marella. In 2008, Maria posed for the April issue Playboy Magazine, following the lead of WWE Divas that had previously posed for the publication.
