Marg Helgenberger is an American film and television actress. Helgenberger can currently be seen on the hit CBS television series CSI, where she portrays Catherine Willows. Helgenberger's other acting credits include China Beach, Mr. Brooks and Ryan's Hope.

Career Prior to Acting
Before becoming an actress, Helgenberger was a weather girl on her local television station's nightly news show. It was after taking part in the play A Streetcar Named Desire that she realized she wanted to act. She won her first professional acting role in 1982, playing Siobhan Ryan Novak on the soap opera Ryan's Hope.
