Marek Zidlicky

  • NHL Career

    Zidlicky was drafted 176th overall in the 2001 NHL draft by the New York Rangers. He continued to play in Finland, with the HIFK Helsinki of the SM-Liiga, following the draft. On December 12, 2002, Zidlicky was traded to the Nashville Predators. He joined the team in 2003 for his NHL debut and played all 82 regular season games with the Predators. During the 2004-05 NHL lockout, he returned to the SM-Liiga in Finland. Zidlicky renewed his contract with the Predators in 2006, signing on to stay in Nashville for four seasons.
