Marc Silvestri is an American comic book artist, writer and publisher. He is a co-founder of Image Comics and the founder and CEO of Top Cow Productions. As an artist, he is known for his lengthy runs on Marvel Comics' Wolverine and Uncanny X-Men.
Silverstri began his career in 1987 at Marvel as a penciller for the Uncanny X-Men. In 1992, he was one of seven artists, along with Jim Lee, Whilce Portacio, Rob Liefeld, Erik Larsen, Todd McFarlane and Jim Valentino, to form the breakaway company Image. Silverstri's own titles, including Cyberforce, were published on Top Cow, an imprint of Image. Top Cow's success have included Witchblade, The Darkness, Fathom and Inferno Hellbound.
In 2004, Silverstri returned to Marvel to pencil several of Grant Morrison's X-Men stories and provide covers to Ed Brubaker's X-Men: Deadly Genesis mini-series.
