Police Officer Marc DiNardo was one of the officers injured in a shootout in Jersey City, New Jersey, on Thursday July 16, 2009. Officer DiNardo, age 37, was shot in the face and remained in critical condition on Monday, July 20, 2009. The suspects, Hassain Hosendove and Amanda Anderson shot five police officers and were killed during the shootout.http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2009/07/jersey_city_police_officer_mar.html

On July 16, 2009, five police officers in Jersey City, New Jersey, were injured during a shootout. The suspects, Hassain Hosendove and his wife, Amanda Anderson, were both killed.
