Reality TV Director and writer Marc Brilleman was charged with false imprisonment on April 12, 2008, after contestants of his reality show Pauper to Princess claimed they were held against their will in the house where the show was being taped. Brilleman was released after posting $3,000 bond. The executive producer Jim Johnson claims that the women were not held against their will. Police say that the women were told that the reality show would run on FOX, but a spokesperson said they had never heard of Pauper to Princess.
