Manny Ramirez, longtime outfielder for the Boston Red Sox, was traded on July 31, 2008 in a three-way deal to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Over the past month, Ramirez has publicly feuded with Red Sox management, and on July 30, in an interview with ESPN Deportes, Ramirez accused management of trying to turn Red Sox fans against him and run him out of town. During his career in Boston, Ramirez helped lead the Red Sox to two World Series Championships. Ramirez signed with the Red Sox in 2001. From 1993 to 2000, Ramirez played for the Cleveland Indians and helped lead them to two World Series.
