    Manny Ramirez made his Major League Baseball debut on September 2, 1993, with the Cleveland Indians. He helped to lead the Indians to two World Series appearances in 1995 and 1997. In 2001, he signed with the Boston Red Sox. With the help of fellow slugger David Ortiz he would lead the Red Sox to two world series championships in 2004 and 2007. In 2002 he won the American League batting title and in 2004 he led the American League in Home Runs.
