  • Manny Legace is a Canadian professional hockey player, currently playing for the St. Louis Blues in the National Hockey League.

  • Early Years

    Legace began his career in 1990, playing for the Niagara Falls Thunder in the Ontario Hockey League. He was then drafted 188th overall in the 1993 NHL draft by the Hartford Whalers. Legace joined the Whalers' American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Falcons, in 1994. That same year, he represented Team Canada in the Winter Olympics, taking home a silver medal. It was not until 1998, when Legace was traded to the Los Angeles Kings, that he made his NHL debut.
  • Recent Years

    In 1999, Legace signed as a free agent with the Detroit Red Wings. Legace served as the back-up goaltender for the Wings as they won the 2002 Stanley Cup Championship. In 2006, Legace entered the free agency and signed with the St. Louis Blues. He has since served as the starting goaltender for the Blues.
