Manny Acta

Manny Acta is the manager of the Washington Nationals. A native of the Dominican Republic, Acta was hired by the Nationals in 2006 to replace Hall-of-Famer Frank Robinson.

Before being hired, Acta was already somewhat familiar with the Nationals organization. He had spent three years as a third base coach as a member of Frank Robinson's Montreal Expos coaching staff. When the Expos moved to Washington, DC, Acta was hired to join Willie Randolph's staff as a third base coach for the Mets. Acta spent two season in New York before joining the Nationals.
