Manhwa is the term used to describe comics that come from Korea. These comics have a similar look and feel to Japanese comics called Manga. The Manhwa is often mistaken for the much more popular Manga. On major difference between Manhwa and Manga is that Manhwa is read natively left -to-right, while Manga is read natively right-to-left. Many Korean titles have been translated to English. Major Publishers such as ADV, Dark Horse and TOKYOPOP are releasing Manhwa tiles. Yen press has been releasing a mouthly magazine called Yen Plus that has a large Manhwa section.
