"A minor-league Allen, an amiable romp that, like The Thin Man, tries to blend suspense with marital comedy, not always successfully; the film is saved by Diane Keaton (who replaced Mia Farrow last moment after the 1992 scandal) and Anjelica Huston."Emmanuel Levy, EmmanuelLevy.comhttp://www.emanuellevy.com/search/details.cfm?id=1587

"Although the film deals with murder at the core of the plot, Manhattan Murder Mystery proves to be one of the lightest of Woody Allen's films, playing everything as a straight comedy, and the result is one of his most entertaining and accessible films yet."Vince Leo, Qwipster's Movie Reviewshttp://www.qwipster.net/manhattanmurder.htm
