Mallika Sherawat is a Bollywood actress who first gained recognition for her appearance in the music video Lak Tunoo. She then made a splash on the big screen with her role in the 2003 film Khwahish.She has recently begun to do acting work in the Tamil film industry and has also starred in a Chinese movie with Jackie Chan called The Myth.
Her performance in Pyar Ke Side Effects made audiences take notice of her in a different way than before, and 2007's Welcome was a blockbuster success. She is currently among the top paid actresses in Bollywood.
