MLB2K9 is the latest in a series of baseball simulation games published annually by 2K Sports since 2004. In 2005, the series gained an exclusive license contract with Major League Baseball.The game features numerous gameplay improvements, such as simplified controls for pitching, batting, baserunning and fielding. Player information is automatically updated behind the scenes so that rosters are always current. For total immersion in the game world, events occur seamlessly in real-time.
