Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Walkthrough

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom is an action-platformer/puzzle game from Game Republic and published by Namco Bandai Games. Set in a mythical kingdom that has been overrun by a dark force, the game's protagonist is a thief who must control and guide a powerful being, the Majin or Guardian, in order to save the kingdom from the Darkness that has attacked it. While the game incorporates heavy action elements, it is primarily a puzzle-platform game that utilizes friendship and teamwork between the player and the AI-controlled Majin in order to progress the game.

Story

The kingdom of Quomarkaj has plunged into chaos. It's King and Queen have been consumed by an evil force, the Darkness, which has now spread across the land and in a hundred years turned the once-prosperous kingdom to nothing. A plucky thief, Tepeu, infiltrates the capital city overrun with warriors of Darkness in search of the Majin, the Ancient Guardian of the Kingdom that alone possesses the power to defeat the Darkness and save the Kingdom from disaster. Together, the Majin and Tepeu battle hordes of Dark beings in their quest to confront the possessed king and rescue the Forsaken Kingdom from its dark fate.

Gameplay

A puzzle-platform game in the style of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom combines elements of third-person action and adventure gameplay with team-based puzzle solving. Though Tepeu is a skilled warrior, he cannot fight the Dark enemies without the Majin's help; similarly, the player must solve puzzles as Tepeu in order to progress with the Majin through the game. Along the way, Tepeu retrieves fruit that slowly restore the Majin to his original strength and powers. While there are a wide variety of enemies faced in the game, the main objective, regaining entry into Arkela Castle to confront the Darkness-possessed King, is achieved by defeating four Dark Generals, which can only be reached by progressing through four large zones broken into multiple areas. Each area has a particular puzzle or challenge which must be solved before Tepeu and the Majin can continue with their quest.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Walkthrough Parts 01-05

  1. Run to the end of the room. Crouch to get through the hole on the left side.
  2. Jump down the ledges in the hallway. Go left down the hallway at the bottom.
  3. While crouching, sneak to the right to avoid the first soldier. Wait for the second soldier ahead of you to turn around before sneaking past him to the left.
  4. During the cinematic, you’re faced by three soldiers. As soon as you try to fight them, a new cinematic begins.
  5. Once you’re in the storehouse, jump up the ledge behind you. Jump to the ledge underneath the red bird and talk to it. Since you can talk to animals, any animals you meet along the way can help you.
  6. Jump up to the tops of the pillars and run across them to the gate on the far side. Collect some life shards from the chest on the right to refill your health bar.
  7. Drop down to the gate. Crawl through the hole on your right and head through the doorway ahead of you. You meet the rat again in the sewer.
  8. Climb up the ladder and crawl through the hole at the top to enter the Royal Chambers. The Majin is asleep inside a chamber in the center of the room.
  9. Drop down to the floor and climb up the red ladder. After talking to the Majin, head down the passage to the right through the hole in the wall.
  10. Go through the sewer and through the cavern (open the chest to get the life shards).
  11. Crawl through the water-filled ditch and grate to get past the soldiers. Crawl through the hole in the wall and pluck the green fruit. Head through the hole behind you and go back the way you came to return to the Majin.
  12. You can now control the Majin. He can follow you or wait in specific area, or use his awesome strength to knock down or weaken enemies.
  13. Now that you have the spike empowered with the Majin’s abilities, you can fight soldiers of darkness much easier.
  14. Order the Majin to take out the three enemies by the door. Order the Majin to open the door and take out the four enemies in the next room.
  15. Head up the stairs. Save your game at the statue if you wish.
  16. Majin takes position near a wall, below which are five warriors of darkness. Have Majin stand by the wall and order him to push it over to crush the warriors.
  17. Before Majin can open the door, you must pull the lever above and to the left. Jump on the Majin’s back to reach it to the ledge on the right.
  18. Follow the walkway around the room. Sneak up on the warriors you meet along the way to take them out with one hit.
  19. Pull the lever and order Majin to open the door. Help him take out the five warriors remaining on the ground.
  20. Open the next door and save your game before attempting the battle with the guardian.
  21. The guardian is assisted by six warriors. Wait for a few warriors to wander near the wall and then have the Majin drop it on them.
  22. Focus on taking out the remaining warriors while the Majin fights the guardian.  When the battle is over, open the door to end the level.
  23. Run down the bridge from the doorway (you can’t do anything to open it yet).
  24. After a nice interlude at the Tree of Life, continue down the path. Help the Majin open the door at the bottom of the path.
  25. Continue along the trail until you reach the catapult. Climb into the catapult to be fired up and throw down the rocks you find.
  26. You must use the catapult to knock down the walls blocking your access to the two levers. One lever allows entry past a door that contains additional weight for the catapult; this lever is directly ahead of the entrance to the area.
  27. The second lever is to the left of the area’s entrance, right above the door that it unlocks. To reach it you must knock away three barriers, one of which requires additional weight, which can be found behind the door unlocked by the first lever.
  28. Knock away all the walls and use the catapult to fire Tepeu to the upper ledges. Follow the path along the wall, pull the first lever, use the weight to increase the range of the catapult and knock away the last wall blocking your access to the second lever.
  29. If you ever run out of rocks, the rocks on the ledges behind and to the right of you are automatically replaced.
  30. Once the lever has been pulled, have the Majin open the door and you  can proceed into the next area.
  31. Take out the two dark scouts and one dark warrior any way you like. You can use the bell to draw the scouts towards you and take them out without the warrior, or you can take them on all at once.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Walkthrough Parts 06-10

  1. Below you is an area crawling with dark soldiers, including a dark guardian. To your right is a large crank; have the Majin turn the crank to open the door below you. Jump down through the door and ring the bell inside; when all the dark soldiers are inside the room, run out the door and order the Majin to close the door behind you.
  2. If you were successful, you should have trapped all the dark warriors inside the room. The dark guardian can’t fit through the door, so you and the Majin have to take him out with brute force.
  3. Proceed through the other door in the lower area (there’s a red fruit to your left that you can reach by jumping on the Majin’s back). Continue past the save point to the large area beyond.
  4. This area has about 10 dark warriors and a dark guardian protecting a green fruit that sits at the top of a high temple. You can avoid all the warriors by moving up the right side (there’s a long slope). At the top of the path parallel with the temple is a cluster of rocks and ledges. Jump on the Majin’s back to reach the upper ledge, then jump from the ledge onto the back of the temple and then up the steps to the green fruit at the top.
  5. Jump down to the ground and run past the dark warriors to the path on the right. After you’ve fed the Majin his fruit, return to the entrance to the area and head down the left path. The right path continues into the Laboratory, but you can’t proceed there until Majin gets his lightning powers.
  6. At the bottom of the path are four dark warriors and a dark captain. You must defeat the dark captain first, or he’ll keep calling in reinforcements. Take them all out (and try to keep the fighting to the path, or the dark guardian will hit you with his distance attacks), and continue down the path to your left.
  7. This path takes you to the entrance to the Moccoi ruins, but it’s blocked by a door marked with a strange mask. The rats tell you that the mask matches a scarecrow in a nearby ruin.
  8. Follow the path down to your left to reach the ruin. When you arrive at its wall, you can either head up the ramp on the right side or up the ladder on the left.
  9. The ladder takes you to the courtyard underneath the scarecrow, but before you go there head up the ramp on your right.
  10. At the top of the ramp is a massive boulder. Majin takes position at the boulder; you must lure the dark warriors and dark guardian to your right directly in front of the boulder on the ramp, then give the Majin the signal to push it.
  11. Once the dark warriors are gone, jump on the Majin’s back to reach the ledge. Then, climb up the ladder on your left and follow the walkway to where the red fruit is. Deliver the fruit to the Majin to increase his strength.
  12. You must destroy the scarecrow to open the door to the Moccoi ruins. To reach it, head up the ladder to the left of the area’s entrance. Use the two barrels of gunpowder on your left to blow apart the stones blocking your way forward.
  13. The courtyard has six dark warriors patrolling it, none of which you can kill permanently without Majin. Avoid the warriors and get up the column near the entrance. There are three gunpowder barrels here. Drop them on the stones to the left of the column on the courtyard floor; this will open a path to reach the far end of the courtyard where the scarecrow is protected by the dark guardian.
  14. Jump down and head up the passage on the left, the one you just opened by blowing apart the stones. Jump onto the platform surrounding the stairs where the scarecrow is, then jump up to the stairs, dash past the dark guardian and destroy the mask.
  15. Leave the area the way you came (ignore the dark warriors) and rejoin Majin back near the ladder. Proceed back to the doorway to the Moccoi ruins, which is now open but unfortunately needs a lever pulled before you can go through it.
  16. Use Majin to get over the broken wall to the right of the Moccoi doorway. Avoid or take out the two dark warriors and get to the far end of the small area. Head up the ramps to the upper level; below you is a straight corridor leading to another door, which is guarded by two dark warriors.
  17. Drop down and cross to the other side of the corridor. Here there are three dark warriors on patrol. Get past them to the far end of the area and head up the ramp to the upper level. Knock out the traps with rocks and ignore the dark guardian as you run to the lever. Pull the lever to release the lock.
  18. Order Majin to open the door. Help him take out the dark warriors guarding the next door then open it and proceed.
  19. The next area has Majin’s wind power, but to get it you have to defeat a large number of enemies. One dark captain, three dark warriors and a guardian are at the ground level while four dark archer guardians are in positions surrounding the courtyard.
  20. Majin can push down three pillars onto the courtyard below. The best way to use them is to position the Majin and then jump down, start fighting the warriors, wait for them to get underneath the pillar and then order the Majin to push.
  21. The dark archers are quite easy to take down by themselves, so while the Majin is fighting the dark warriors (or before), take out the four archers one by one.
  22. When in combat, focus on taking out the captain first, then the guardian, then the warriors, and finally the archers. When all the enemies are down, you can order the Majin to collect the fruit and regain his wind power.
  23. Once you’ve regained the wind power, leave the area and continue forward deeper into the ruin. The area ahead has one dark captain five dark warriors; take them out and order the Majin to blow the large barrel blocking access to the lever.
  24. Pull the lever to unlock the door; order the Majin to open the door and proceed together deeper into the ruins.
  25. At the bottom of the stairs ahead of you is a door of transportation; you can use it to travel quickly throughout the castle grounds. For now, however, it is blocked by another mask.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Walkthrough Parts 11-15

  1. In the area to your left, there is a dark guardian on the ground and two dark archers on pillars in the center. Take out the guardian first, then have the Majin blow the barrel between the two archers. Climbing up to the walkways via ladder, you can then use the swinging barrel to reach both archers’ pillars, knocking them to the ground.
  2. After the archers are gone, head back up to the barrel and have the Majin blow it a second time. While it’s swinging, jump on it to reach the opposite walkway. This walkway leads to the lever you need to pull to unlock the door. Pull the lever and proceed through the door.
  3. The first boss battle is just up ahead; you must fight Caprakan, a spider-like dark beast and one of the four Dark Generals. You must defeat each general in order to re-enter the castle.
  4. Caprakan starts on the left side; run over to the platform near him and slash him several times. As he withdraws to the far side, have the Majin use his air attack to blow the cage in the center of the chamber into Caprakan.
  5. Caprakan falls to the floor; jump down and slash repeatedly at his head until his mask blows off (you might have to repeat this whole process if you’re not fast enough).
  6. Knocking away Caprakan’s mask begins the second part of the battle. You and the Majin are fighting Caprakan on the ground floor. Strike his legs repeatedly; when one hovers in the air, have the Majin strike him with his air attack.
  7. Caprakan falls onto his chest and lies still for several moments. Order the Majin to slam his back with the cage. Repeat this process until you can perform your finishing move.
  8. After the fight with Caprakan ends, head through the door and back up the slope to the excavation site.
  9. Now that it’s night, you’ll face a few new enemies. Some floating dark wraiths are at the entrance of the excavation site; use the Majin’s roar to scare them away.
  10. Exit the Moccoi ruins. Defeating Caprakan opened up a new area, accessible by the Hawme’a Falls. Head over there now (it’s to the north of the Powerplant).
  11. Along the way, you’ll probably face a few random dark patrols. Be aware that enemies will return to areas they once haunted (where you captured the air-attack fruit, for instance, will once again be crawling with dark warriors when you pass it by again). You can use these areas to gain more experience or test out new combination attacks.
  12. When you reach the entrance to Hawma’e Falls, you have to lower the bridge to reach the door. To get there, first have the Majin blow down the footbridge connecting the wooden platform on the left with the other side.
  13. Cross the footbridge and use the lever to lower the main bridge. Take a quick break at the Tree of Life nearby, then continue onward into the Malawa Forest.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Walkthrough Parts 16-20

  1. You’ve essentially entered a new region at this point; the door closes behind you as soon as you’re through.
  2. There’s another scarecrow mask at the top of a steep hill. There’s also other electric machines that need the Majin’s Lightning ability to become operational.
  3. Your first priority is the scarecrow. Head forward along the path; take out the dark grabber on the ledge to your left. Two warriors and one dark grabber are ahead along the path to your right.
  4. Jump onto the ledge to your right past the doorway (and the enemies) from the Majin’s back. Head to the left along the ledges until you’re back at the doorway.
  5. Pull the lever to drop the door, then have the Majin lift the door as you stand on it. Once the door is lifted, jump to the ledge on your left and destroy the first scarecrow.
  6. The scarecrow was a mask that was trapping the Great Tree of Malawa, which you have yet to discover.
  7. Go around the area with the doorway to the path leading to the right. Take out the two warriors and one grabber that block your path.
  8. Head up the path to the next area (the Moving Bridges). Here you’ll face two groups of enemies: three warriors and two fliers, then one archer, three warriors and one grabber.
  9. To allow the Majin to pass through the area, run along the walkway ahead of you and pull the electrified lever. This will rotate the bridge.
  10. After taking out the first group of enemies, have the Majin wait as you move around the second group. The archer overlooks the path through which the Majin will have to move. Wait until you’re positioned behind the archer, then order the Majin to attack.
  11. After you take out this second group of enemies, you can search the area for chests and fruit. When you’re done, have the Majin break the rocks blocking your path to the next area.
  12. The next area is the Kanay Valley. You’re way forward is blocked by a locked door. To reach the lever that releases the lock, jump on the Majin’s back to reach the ledge on your right.
  13. Throw stones to take out the mines, then move along the ledges until you’re on the other side. Ignore the large group of enemies by the next door and move around the edges until you’ve reached a large wooden box.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Walkthrough Parts 21-25

  1. Push the box to the other side, allowing you to jump up to the lever. Release the lock and take out the three enemies near the door.
  2. Up ahead is a boulder. Have the Majin position himself at the boulder, then lure the enemies below into the boulder’s path. Pushing the boulder down should take out all the enemies in one fell swoop.
  3. Have the Majin open the door ahead to proceed into the next area, the Mu’bi Fortress. Three warriors, one dog and two fliers are in this area.
  4. After you’ve taken out all the enemies, have the Majin collect water from the waterfall and then place it in the empty water wheel. This will activate the pumps for a short time. Jump on the pumps to reach the lever unlocking the door to the catapult’s stones.
  5. Now that you have the stones, you can use the catapult. First, knock down the wall immediately above the water wheel. Head through the passage past the shattered wall to pull the lever there; this drops the gate blocking the next breakable wall.
  6. Use the catapult to break this next wall. Then, have the Majin raise the gate you dropped earlier. Past the gate, jump on the Majin’s back to get up the ledge, then follow the path to the right to the final lever.
  7. Don’t forget to grab the green fruit nearby!
  8. The last lever released the lock on the gate to the next area. After you’ve searched the area thoroughly, order the Majin to open the door and proceed.
  9. The next area has the second scarecrow you need to destroy to open up the Great Tree of Malawa area. There’s also a fruit that increases the Majin’s wind power and a chest. All three items are sitting on raised platforms in corners of the area.
  10. At first the puzzle seems confusing, but it’s actually very straight forward. To your right is a locked gate, behind which is a waterfall (to the right is a door to another area, for now blocked off by magic). Jump on the Majin’s back to reach the ledge behind you and unlock the gate with the lever nearby.
  11. The Majin can take in water from the waterfall, and then use the water to fill up the hanging jars near each platform. Pouring the water into each jar will drop one and raise another, allowing you to reach the platforms.
  12. To get the Majin around the area, you’ll have to use the two gondolas. Have the Majin use his wind power to blow them into the clamps, then use the levers to release the gondolas and have them swing into the other set of clamps. Do this while the Majin is sitting in the gondola to get him to different parts of the area.
  13. There are four dark warriors patrolling the ground underneath all the raised walkways, so be careful.
  14. After you’ve destroyed the second scarecrow, you can proceed into the Great Tree of Malawa region, accessible via a staircase in the Mu’bi Fortress (the area with the catapult).
  15. Pull on the lever to lower the lift, then once you and the Majin are on the lift pull the second lever to raise it.
  16. One dark captain, two warriors and one dark bat attack at the top of the lift.
  17. The next area has the electric fruit that gives the Majin electric abilities. It’s guarded by several lasers that you must avoid or block in order to reach it.
  18. Climb up the ladder to the right of the entrance. Follow the path along the left-hand side to reach the far side of the area. Pull on the elevator lever to lower the elevator, and wait for the Majin to get on before raising it again.
  19. Jump onto the center platform, after killing all three laser eyes. Avoid the dark troll and pull the red wheel to extend the bridge. Take out the troll with the Majin’s help and have the Majin pull the fruit off the platform to gain the electric ability.
  20. Proceed into the Experimental Wing. Head up the ramp to the upper level. Have the Majin electrify the conductors leading to the two generators (one is above the lower doors, the other is past a fence to your left).
  21. Jump back down and head through the door on the left. Climb up the ladder and jump down to the walkway connecting the left and right parts of the area. Carry the conductor across the walkway and leave it on the vacant conductor space. Then order the Majin to electrify the conductor next to it. This will activate the generator on the far side, allowing you to use the elevator.
  22. Head through the right-hand door and take out the dark captain and three dark warriors there. Use the elevator to bring you and the Majin to the upper level.
  23. Ahead of you there are two generators past a fence with a hole in it. You can pass through the hole but the Majin cannot. You must place conductors on each of the small floor panels, on the left and right side, with a final conductor placed on the wooden box (first on the right side between the two platforms, then on the left side with the box pushed against the narrow stone wall). Have the Majin electrify the conductor near the fence to activate each generator.
  24. Turning on the generators will open doors on your right and left. The right door leads to a treasure chest, while the left door leads to the area before the next boss battle.
  25. To open the door leading to the boss battle, you must activate the generator at the top of the ramp on your right. Take out the dark warriors, plus the dark archer and two laser eyes on the upper platform on your left.
  26. When you’ve reached the generator, place the conductors on each of the small floor panels. Then have the Majin electrify the conductor on the other side of the fence to turn on the generator and allow you to open the door.
  27. To beat the second boss, first you must place a conductor on the upper level between the two conductors immediately above the generator. Once you do that, have the Majin electrify the generator on the ground; this will second bolts of lightning up from the circles on the ground. If the boss is standing on one of these circles, he will be stunned and you can attack him.
  28. While you’re setting up the conductor, have the Majin punch the gongs to keep the boss distracted (the boss can’t see, but can hear and smell very well).
  29. Shock the boss twice. After that, he becomes impaled by a screw. He’ll try attacking you, but just avoid him until he wears out, then have the Majin electrify the screw while you attack the mask embedded in his chest. Repeat this process a couple of times to defeat the boss.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Walkthrough Parts 26-30

  1. After you beat the boss, the next area you can enter is the Dudegera Ash Forest. You can get there quickly by taking the Room of Transport to the Moccoi Ruins.
  2. Before entering the Dudugera Ash Forest, you have to unlock a door blocking your way. Have the Majin bow the hanging barrel to the left of the door, then jump on the barrel and use it to reach the platform on the far side. Climb up the ladder and pull the lever to unlock the door.
  3. After hanging out at the Tree of Memory for a bit, head through the door to enter the Dudugera Ash Forest.
  4. Creep through the passage on your left. Dodge the dark warriors and climb up the ladder to reach the far side of the bridge. Pull the lever to drop the bridge, allowing the Majin across.
  5. Take out the two dark hounds below.
  6. There’s a mask up the path to your left. Take out the two laser eyes and the dark troll and three dark bats guarding the mask. Destroy it.
  7. Go back to the first area and head down the path leading to the next zone. Take out the two dark dogs and three dark warriors (they have two dark bats in support).
  8. The next area (the shipyard) has a series of rising and falling elevators you can use to move the Majin from place to place. After taking out the dark warriors and dark captain, use the Majin to activate the elevators by electrifying the large column-like generator.
  9. The two lifts near the entrance to the area can be used to reach an electric fruit (this will increase the Majin’s powers).
  10. Past the generator, two heavy dark warriors and one dark dog guard another, smaller generator.  You can’t activate it yet, so lead the Majin up the ramp to the left and jump from his back to the area above you.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Walkthrough Parts 31-35

  1. Past the elevator is a hole in the floor. Drop down it and carry the two conductors to the generator below. Position the conductors near the hole in the fence and have the Majin electrify them. This will activate the generator and turn on the elevator, allowing you to proceed.
  2. Use the elevator to bring the Majin up to the top level, then follow the path to your left that leads to the Navy Headquarters area.
  3. Climb up the red ladder. Take out the enemy at the very top, then drop to the ledge on your right. Jump across the box and over the bridge to the green fruit. Bring the fruit to the Majin.
  4. To the left of the tower is a bridge the Majin can blow down. Cross the bridge and while avoiding the dark soldiers, pull the lever to the right to drop the second bridge, allowing the Majin to cross over to you.
  5. Take out the dark troll and warriors. Once they’re down, have the Majin open the door leading to the elevator.
  6. Take the elevator up to the stone walkways. Have the Majin blow the barrel so that it swings over to the far side. Use the barrel to reach the mask and destroy it.
  7. With the mask destroyed, you can proceed into the next available area, the Iron Factory. You can reach it by heading north past the Chibirias (where you’ll fight the third boss).
  8. The Iron Factory has a wind fruit on a central platform; it’s guarded by three heavy dark warriors and two small dark dogs; two large dark dogs are around the corner, as well as two archers armed with exploding arrows (they can be reached by extending the bridge).
  9. Head up the ramp to the left of the area’s entrance. At the top the pathway is blocked by a large stone, but the Majin can break it.
  10. The next area has three archers armed with exploding arrows on three platforms. Have the Majin wait near the area’s entrance while you go up the ladder on the far left side and knock the archers down to the ground.
  11. Once the archers are on the ground, you and the Majin can take them out.
  12. There’s a mask locked in an iron cage; you can’t get to it without the Majin’s help. The gate ahead is locked, so head up the ladder and sneak through the area to your left filled with enemies (they’re all clustered around a platform with a fruit on it).
  13. A single heavy dark warrior is near the other side of the gate; avoid him and climb up the ladder to unlock the gate.
  14. Order the Majin to position himself at the large boulder. When he’s ready, run down and draw the dark warriors into the path of the boulder. Give the  Majin the order to drop the rock when all the warriors are in its path.
  15. Collect the red fruit on the platform, then lead the Majin around to the area above the mask. Have the Majin push down the two pillars blocking your access to the mask.
  16. Once the pillars are down, head down to the cage and destroy the mask.
  17. The mask was the final mask blocking your access to the Chibirias. Head over there once you’ve collected all the chests and fruit in the area (don’t forget to save!)
  18. Chibirias
  19. The first area, the Chibirias Stern, seems confusing (in fact, it is!). It’s made up of a series of levels and rooms cut off from one another by doors and accessible only through a few hard-to-find passages.
  20. First, take out the two dark dogs guarding the door on the far side. Once they’re out, have the Majin open the door they were guarding. The room on the other side of the door doesn’t have much in it, but the raised door does block an eye laser above it.
  21. Go back a bit and turn right. There’s a ledge you can reach with the Majin’s help; two heavy dark warriors are patrolling the area near the ledge. Run past them or lead them down to the Majin to be destroyed; either way, it’s better to keep them from getting in your way.
  22. At the far end of the upper area you’ll see a few exploding barrels. Pick one up and bring it over to a weakened wall to your right. Climb up the stairs to the platform next to the wall and throw the barrel down; it should explode and destroy the wall.
  23. The next bit of wall is guarded by an eye laser. To take it out, bring an exploding barrel and set it down next to the wall. Once you’re at a safe distance, throw a rock at the barrel; the eye laser will shoot the barrel and take out the wall.
  24. Past the wall is a ladder; head up it and over the walkway it leads to (avoid the single heavy dark warrior that’s up there).
  25. Jump down to your left to the chest. A bit lower down is the lever to unlock the door leading out; unlock it for the Majin so that he can proceed.
  26. Don’t forget the fire fruit! It’s down a ramp just behind the ladder you reached near the second broken wall.
  27. With the flame ability, the Majin can remove fire from pathways and burn away large crates. Remove the fire  and crates blocking your access to the next area (the Chibirias Engine).

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Walkthrough Parts 36-40

  1. Two heavy dark warriors and a small dog guard a chest on the far side of the area. After taking them out, head up the staircase to your right. It takes you to a platform just above another area with four dark warriors and a dark captain.
  2. Hop down and stealthily take out the dark captain. Then, order the Majin to remove the crates blocking his access to the area. Take out the four dark warriors and remove the fire blocking the Majin’s access to the walkway.
  3. At the top of the walkway, have the Majin wait near the un-lowered bridge. Have him ignite one of the nearby bombs for you and use it to blow away the crates blocking your path. Dodge the dark warrior nearby and lower the gate so that the Majin can proceed.
  4. The gate ahead is blocked. Have the Majin put out the fires in the room past the fence, then grab a bomb and bring it into that room. Have the Majin ignite the bomb from the other side of the fence, then place it next to the crates blocking your path to the lever.
  5. After the crates have been destroyed, pull the lever to unlock the gate and have the Majin open it for you.
  6. The next area, the Chibirias Bow, houses the third boss.
  7. As bosses go, this one is pretty easy. You just have to keep picking up bombs, igniting them and throwing them at the right moments.
  8. The boss is in the form of a whale. At first he attacks you with fireballs and charging attacks. Use ignited bombs to weaken him, then attack his blowhole.
  9. After a few successful attacks, the battle enters stage two. The boss is slower and stays above the sand, but he’s only vulnerable when he opens his mouth.
  10. To get his mouth open, wait for him to finish his attacks or throw an ignited bomb at him. Though this won’t do any damage, it will cause him to open his mouth sooner.
  11. Once his mouth is open, chuck a bomb in there. Then have the Majin open his mouth, allowing you to attack the mask inside.
  12. After a couple of attacks like this, the boss will be defeated.
  13. You’ve defeated the third boss; just one more boss to go before you can re-enter the castle.
  14. The fourth boss is in Tanay City, accessible through the Iron Factory to the north.
  15. As you head north, you may run into some new enemies, depending on what time of day it is. The area around the entrance to Tanay City may be guarded by a dark captain, a few dark warriors and an archer.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Walkthrough Parts 41-45

  1. The first area of the Mine City has one mask on an upper level. To reach the level you must climb up the red ladder and have the Majin turn the crank to move the central platform into position.
  2. Before you can do this, of course, you must take out the dark warriors guarding the platform.
  3. Once you’re on the upper level, you’ll see that your way is blocked by a rock. To take out the rock, carry on of the nearby exploding barrels to the rock. When you’re standing next to the rock with the barrel, have the Majin turn the central platform so that the laser eye is facing you.
  4. When the eye shoots you, the barrel will explode and the rock will be cleared (you’ll take a little damage).
  5. A few dark warriors are between you and the mask; you can take them out stealthily or simply run past them and destroy the mask.
  6. The next area’s mask is behind a locked door. Take out the heavy dark troll in the courtyard, along with the three dark warriors and dark dog with it.
  7. You can unlock the door by blowing away the crystal pillar blocking access to the lever. Use a bomb to do this.
  8. After getting past the locked door, jump from the Majin’s back to reach the ladder (since it’s lower half is gone). Destroy the mask and move north to the next area (be sure not to forget this area, since it’s a little off the main path).
  9. Four dark warriors, a dark dog and an archer protect the main courtyard of this area. After that, this area is REALLY straightforward; just use the catapult to launch yourself over to the walkway with the mask, and destroy the mask while dodging the archer’s flaming arrows.
  10. There’s also a fruit to your right, protected by a big dark dog, and some chests above you. Once you’re done, head back through the previous area to continue.
  11. The next area has a few dark warriors protecting an electric fruit. Take out the dark captain first (you’ll have to lure him out of the center, since the Majin can’t reach it).
  12. After the dark warriors are destroyed, climb up the ladder to your left and grab the conductor. Place it next to the generator to form a link, then have the Majin electrify it to open the gate.
  13. To reach the fruit, bring another conductor over to the generator on the far right. Activate the generator there to turn on the elevator, then head up to the upper level.
  14. Dodge the dark grabbers, get the fruit and bring it back down to the Majin below you.
  15. The final mask is in the next area, the Residence. It is accessible by a ground path and by a path that leads directly from the elevator. Use the ground path first to clear out the enemies near the area’s entrance (one dark captain and four dark warriors).
  16. There are two archers covering the area’s courtyard and the tower with the mask at the top. Leave the Majin near the entrance to the area, then head back to the earlier area to take the elevator up.
  17. From the elevator, follow the path into the area and take out the archers one by one (you can just knock them to the ground and let the Majin sort them out).
  18. Have the Majin turn the crank to rotate the tower, allowing you to reach the mask. Once you destroy it, head back through the last four areas to reach the entrance to the Crystal Palace.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Walkthrough Parts 46-50

  1. You may have to defeat of the same enemies along the way!
  2. When you reach the Crystal Palace, you’ll see the Purification fruit, the final fruit for the Majin to collect. Don’t try to fight the enemies guarding the Palace’s entrance until you collect the fruit.
  3. Go left along the outer edge of the courtyard. Two dogs and heavy warriors are in the pathway below you; use the exploding barrels to weaken them before attacking.
  4. Two more dark warriors are in the passageway in front of you. If you set off the smoke traps, the warriors will be confused and you can sneak up on them.
  5. The fruit is up the stairs to your right. Once you collect it, the Majin will be fully grown. The Purification power allows him to remove pools of Darkness ooze from your path and turn enemies into crystal.
  6. With the Purification power, taking out normal warriors is real easy. Use it to take out the warriors guarding the Palace’s entrance, as well as the heavy troll.
  7. Inside the Crystal Palace, you’re met by three dark warriors and two dark archers. Let the Majin attack the warriors while you take out the archers (setting off the traps their standing near is a good way to weaken them).
  8. Once you’re done, head to the top of the stairs. The Majin can freeze the pillar, allowing you to reach the chest to your right.
  9. The next area has a door on the far left that you must reach, but you have to extend a bridge and cross a big puddle of ooze to reach it.
  10. Have the Majin freeze the pillar nearby. Then jump from pillar to pillar until you’re at the crystal platform with the exploding barrels (look out for the archer!)
  11. Jump down from the crystal to the ground on your right; around the corner is a wheel that extends the bridge.
  12. Once the Majin joins you, have him freeze the ooze puddle. Be careful when you take on the dark grabbers; their attacks freeze you in ooze, making returning attacks very difficult.
  13. Once all the enemies are down, collect the red fruit on the platform to the right of the door and pull the wheel to the left to lift the door itself.
  14. Past the door is Ixtab, the Queen and final boss before you can reenter the castle. She’s also the easiest to beat!
  15. When the battle begin, distract the boss by throwing rocks. Order the Majin to Act (not Attack) the pool of ooze under the boss; this will freeze her in place and allow you to attack her abdomen.
  16. After a few hits, the boss retreats into a larger area. Here, you can’t attack her until you destroy the three pipes that feed her ooze.
  17. Once again, it’s up to you to keep the boss distracted while ordering the Majin to destroy the pipes (you may have to order him again and again). The boss sends tentacles to attack you from underground, and though they attack quickly they’re not very dangerous.
  18. Once all three pipes are destroyed, you can close with the boss and defeat her. Order the Majin to freeze the ooze underneath her, then attack her mask. After a few hits, she’ll be defeated.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Walkthrough Parts 51-55

  1. The quickest way to the castle is through a now-unlocked door on the other side of the Residence area in Tanay City. It will mean going through several areas still infested with Darkness, but it’s much quicker than re-tracing your steps.
  2. The door can be reached by a path that leads out the back of the Residence area. You’ll have to take out some spiked dark dogs on the way.
  3. Past the door is a Tree of Life, plus a chest with a new outfit for the Majin. Head over the bridge and you’ll find yourself in the Malawa Forest again. From here, simply move through the areas until you’re back at the Castle entrance.
  4. Head through the castle gate and then through the door on your left. There’s one heavy troll, two warriors, a small dog and an archer overlooking the courtyard on left. Leave the Majin behind and take out the archer by yourself; it makes taking the rest of the dark warriors out much easier.
  5. The next area is up to the stairs to your left; a single dark captain and four dark warriors.
  6. Past the gate and the fruit ahead is the Castle Hall. The fountain there spits out dark warriors until you shut it off.
  7. Leave the Majin behind, then lead the dark warriors from the fountain up to stairs near the valve for the fountain. Then call the Majin up and while he fights the warriors you can turn off the fountain (look out for the archers; you’ll need to make sure they shoot at the Majin and not you).
  8. When the fountain is turned off, a new enemy attacks you: a double-sided Dark blimp-like thing. You can’t damage the side that shoots lasers, but the other side the Majin can hit with his attacks. Wound the blimp a couple of times to take it down.
  9. The next area is a little complicated: you have to turn four valves to shut off the four fountains.
  10. The first valve is through a small hole to your left. It’s easy to get to without distracting enemy attention. The next valve is across from it and is guarded by another two-headed dark blimp with some dark warriors.
  11. After you turn the second valve, draw the little dark dogs away from the fountains so that the Majin can open the door across the room. Behind this door are the two remaining valves. Let the Majin fight the enemies while you turn the valves: once all four fountains are turned off, the main gate to the next area will open.
  12. The next area, the Staircase, has one heavy troll supported by three dark warriors, a two-headed blimp on the cross-bridge above the entrance, four dark warriors patrolling the outer walkway and two fountains on the far walkway leading to the exit door (phew!).
  13. After dealing with the enemies on the ground floor (and grabbing the fruit), go up the staircase on your left. Take out the two-headed blimp and head up the staircase ahead of you.
  14. When you’re on the far side of the room, let the Majin deal with the dark warriors while you shut off the two valves. One has some ooze in front of it, so let the Majin deal with that while you keep the warriors busy.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Walkthrough Parts 56-57

  1. Avoid the evil Majin, but take out the few warriors he sends at you (with your powers it’s pretty easy). Turn the valve to lower the crystal, then hop up on the platform to break it.
  2. When the crystal’s on the ground avoid or take out the dark warriors while chipping away at the crystal.
  3. Now you must fight the Majin’s alone, but his attacks are slow and if you keep hitting him he weakens quickly.
  4. With the Majin, strike the Darkness’ head repeatedly.
  5. Eventually more arms come out from the sides of the portal. Keep the glowing balls away from the Majin (they sap his power).
  6. The two hands on either side of the head start putting up protective shields; strike the hands to bring down the shields, then with the Majin keep attacking the head.
  7. Four of the Darkness’ hands start to put up shields at once: take out all the hands while ordering the Majin to attack. After a few hits, the Darkness will be defeated.
