- Fort Knox State Historic Site: has the highest bridge observatory in the world, providing a 360 view of foliage for miles.

- Lamoine State Park: on the coast, with views of Acadia
- Mount Blue State Park
- Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park

Guided Foliage Tours - 2009
Four Maine state parks are featuring guided foliage tours in September and October, 2009. The program, “Take A Hike!”, includes free water from Poland Spring and are free with park admission.http://mobile.maine.gov/news/?sid=79467
