There are two kinds of Mahalo Widgets. The first is personal, based on your Mahalo account, and it shows information from your profile as well as your most recent participation on Mahalo Answers. The second is specific to individual Mahalo pages, and came be embedded around the Web to showcase great Mahalo content about any topic in our index.
The Mahalo Answers Widget can be embedded on your blog or website to feature your latest answers, belt rating, and Mahalo star rating. Right now, the Answers widget is down, but we will be bringing it back in the future and will provide complete instructions for using it here.
Individual widgets for Mahalo pages are available presently, and can be found in the "About this page" section of any Mahalo topic page, in the bottom right-hand corner. When you place these widgets on your website or blog, it will help to draw traffic to your page, and of course advertising revenue as well. This can be a great way to market and promote Mahalo pages. You will also be entitled to earn M$1 for every 5,000 widget views, provided you follow the rules and guidelines cited below.
Using the Mahalo Page Widgets
You can find the widget for any page by clicking on the "Embed This Page" link at the bottom of the sidebar, in the section titled "About This Page." This widget is in form of an HTML code and you embed it on your website or blog by copying and pasting the code into any page on your website or your blog template.
Mahalo Widget Views are generated when people visit the site or blog that you have your widget embedded in. Only unique views counts towards your widget view total. If you get more than one visit from the same IP address within 24 hours it will be counted as just one view.

Click the link labeled "Embed This Page" to find the code for an individual Mahalo page's widget.
Rules and Regulations
Any applicable Mahalo Dollar payouts for widget views are made with Mahalo's sole discretion, and must be based on legitimate use of the widgets. This would include targeted placement of Mahalo page widgets on high-quality content sites.
The Mahalo widget should not be placed within toolbars. As well, the widget should never be placed alongside illegal or inappropriate content. All content featured alongside the widget should resemble Mahalo content - helpful, high-quality and original writing and features that enhance the user's Web experience and provide relevant information.
