TwitterSearch Importing
Mahalo has designed a utility for Mahaloians to Import questions asked on the social website Twitter. Once an imported Twitter question is answered by Mahalo, the Twitter user is sent a "tweet" from Mahalo with a link to their answered question. Twitter users can then log in to Mahalo and choose which answer deserves to win best answer. -
The TwitterSearch Tool
In order to have access to the Mahalo TwitterSearch Tool, you must be a Green Belt in the Mahalo community.
First you will see the search bar, in the first image to your left you will see the term "History" is being searched. "-http" will ensure your search results will not include posts with links and the question mark will include results with a question mark. Your search term should always be inside the quotes especially if there are multiple words.
-
Import TwitterSearch Results
After the search results load you will find a list of 100 of the latest Tweets relevant to your search. As you read through the list, expect only a small percentage to be usable on Mahalo if any at all. You are essentially digging through Twitter for question gems.
To Import
1. Click the check box next to the question you want to import.
2. Fix any spelling and grammar errors, delete any extra punctuation added in the tweet and use Mahalo inlinking on linkable terms.
3. Select a Mahalo Topic Page to connect the page too (optional) and select the category.
