The best timeline pages will consist of three key components.
- Accurate historical events - Important for background information. This is what your traditional
- Daily news - Every timeline topic could be updated daily, something happens in the world everyday regarding any topic a timeline can be built out of, doesn't mean it has to be updated daily. A Timeline is never complete.
- Future Events: Timelines can go into the future, timelines have the potential of knowing the buzz before it becomes buzz.
Timelines have 2 main sections.
- The Managers timeline - the Featured and Text sections with original content.
- The Timeline Search - The automated Mahalo search content.

How Timelines Work
When starting a timleline, you want to to select the "Timeline" template. This will create a page tailored for Timelines.
There are two key elements to timelines - "Featured Objects" and "Text Sections" - The text sections will be where you list events from the time period. The featured object section will be where you can highlight a particular event from the timeline. The template has three of each, but feel free to use the page builder to add as many sections as you need to complete your timeline. Below the timeline are other search elements that help complete your page.
Most timelines are done in the order of newest event to oldest. This way you can continue to update your timeline as the days,weeks,months,years pass.
