Mahalo's Guide for Publishers
- Consider your site: First, take a moment and consider: is your site a valuable resource? You may have a perfectly good website or blog that isn't useful for most searches. Make sure you check out our index to see the search results we've built.
- Recommend a link: Notice the User Recommended Links section toward the bottom of all Mahalo pages. After you've found a search result page that you think could really use your site, click the "Know a better link for..." link to recommend your site for that page. You can also use Mahalo Follow to recommend links faster.
- Participate in the discussion: Each search result page at Mahalo has its own message board section toward the bottom of the page. Click the "Post a New Message" link and join in the discussion.
- Be patient: Mahalo brings you the best search results possible by using humans to make judgment calls about what we link to and what we don't. We filter out all the spam sites and broken links and take the time to thoroughly evaluate websites. This takes time. It also means that there is a chance that your site will not be accepted.
