Mahalo recieved a significant amount of press coverage during the second half of the month of June 2008. Still hot from the initial launch of the website, Mahalo announced a new part time program called the Mahalo Greenhouse. The Greenhouse, allows remote users (called Part-Time Guides) create new pages under the guidance of in-house staff (called Full Time Guides). While the Greenhouse was technically launched on June 13, 2007 at the NMK Forum, Mahalo received opinions and critiques on the new website throughout the month.
