The Mahalo GoTeam is discontinued as of Sunday, June 27, 2010.

Jason Calacanis cancelled the GoTeam as part of the restructuring he describes in this post on Mahalo Answers.

In addition to the basics of excellent spelling, punctuation and grammar, the underlying requirements for all pages created by GoTeam members were:

1. Categories - the 3-8 most appropriate categories
2. Related Mahalo Pages - have at least 5, but no more than 15
3. Facts - Have a facts section with at least 5 facts with sources
4. 200 words in the content section (or more)
5. Video with a 50-100 word caption
6. 300 words including content, facts and video caption
7. References to the authoritative Internet pages used to write the Mahalo page
8. Inlinks - All terms that Mahalo has or will have a page on need to be inlinked. This includes all proper nouns, significant common nouns and all dates and years. An inlink should be used the first time a term is used, and not repeated. For more info on inlinking, see the Mahalo page entitled How To Inlink on Mahalo.
