  After dating since 2002 and being engaged since 2006, Gallenhaal and Sarsgaard married in Italy on May 2, 2009. The ceremony took place in a small Brindisi chapel where friends and family were in attendance. Gallenhaal and Sarsgaard share a daughter together named Ramona, born on October 3, 2006.

  Maggie Gyllenhaal is the sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. She first gained notoriety with her role opposite her brother in Donnie Darko as his on screen sister. Following that performance, she appeared in a number of independent films winning Golden Globe nominations for her roles in Secretary and Sherrybaby. She more recently jumped into the blockbuster arena as an actress as Bruce Wayne's girlfriend, Rachel Dawes, in The Dark Knight.
