    Mafia II is set in a ficticious post World War II Amercia where players will take on the role of Vito, a poor Italian immigrant who finds himself seduced by the money and power related to organized crime. Vito has been a petty criminal all of his life, but he will look to escape that fate along with his childhood friend, Joe.

    2K Games, the publisher of Mafia II, says the game features an engaging narrative, written by the same writers who wrote the script for the first Mafia game, car-to-car gunfights, hand-to-hand combat and gunplay that all combine for an exciting experience.
