Mae Young is a retired American professional wrestler currently with the WWE.
WWE Career
A former champion in the NWA in the 1950s and 60s, Young made her WWE debut in 1999 at the age of 76. Through the early 2000s, she and her former student, The Fabulous Moolah, made occasional appearances on WWE programming.
Despite her age, Young took many bumps during this time. In 1999, Jeff Jarrett slammed a guitar over her head, and the next year, Bubba Ray Dudley powerbombed her through a table.
Young was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008. In an interview before the ceremony, she expressed her gratitude, vowing to keep wrestling when she was a hundred.SLAM! Wrestling: HOFer Mae Young vows to keep wrestling (March 27, 2008)
